Ingo Frank was a member of the junior research group “Frozen and Unfrozen Conflicts” (from November 2015 to October 2018) where he worked on the electronic research infrastructure and digital analysis and visualization tools. Meanwhile, he was also involved in the DFG projects GeoPortOst and OstData (project proposal) at the Library and Electronic Research Infrastructure Division. Prior to his reappointment at the IOS, Mr. Frank was a visiting research fellow at the Trier Center for Digital Humanities (TCDH). He has been back at the IOS since January 2019 and works as a ‘Data Librarian’ in the Department of Library and Electronic Research Infrastructure. Since March 2019 he has been responsible as an information scientist for the contribution of the IOS to the joint project OstData towards the development of a research data service for interdisciplinary research on the regions of East, East-Central and Southeast Europe. Since March 2019, Ingo Frank has also been a member of the international consortium Data for History, which strives to establish ontology-based data modeling in (Digital) History.
